This is the Walmart distribution center in tomah Wisconsin they have parking for trucks for their team or just to stage up waiting for appt time!!
I was 01 hr early as my appointment. I was thinking that they will be very punctual but was very disappointed. After parked on dock , there was movement for 3 to 4 hrs . I think I will be clear like after 6 to 7 hrs. I could not understand what is the purpose of appointment.
Come here if you have extra extra patience. Otherwise no way ,their working style.

Overnight Parking, simple in and out. The only small issue I had was it took four hours and 40 mins to unload me. Normally when I come to Walmart centers it takes two hours and 30 mins or under.
Slower for live unloads, they got a stage parking area which is great and why they got 4 stars. And you can stay hooked, just slide tandems, open doors, dolly down, and unhook red line.
Lot of staging area entrance of Walmart. Guard shack and manager are nice and helpful. 3 hours early check in accept by the time of appointment. Fast unloading. Restroom for drivers is open.
Been to a lot of walmarts in my life this is the first one I've seen with true overnight parking. That in of itself is worth 5 stars. Everything else is normal walmart. Pretty nice gaurds and people and recieving. You can check in an hour early. They took about 3 hours from when I got here but about 2 after my apt time to unload me. So pretty normal for walmart.
Love the fact that they have some parking outside the guard shack even if it's limited. Only been to this particular DC a couple of times but they have always gotten me unloaded and out in a reasonable time
Very nice people works there, from the security entrance to the office. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Fast unload and plenty of room for maneuver. Overnight parking available.
The unloaders destroyed my pallet bumpers. Literally ripped one of them completely off the wall. When I talk to the warehouse foreman. He patently denied that it happened at this location. The trailer was full all the way to the doors with pallets. Obviously, unless the front pallet was sitting on top of that bumper, thereby actually sitting at about a 20° angle, the damage happened at this location. That same foreman went so far as to suggest that I went in and ripped it off the wall for the purpose of blaming it on Walmart! I previously had a great opinion of this, Walmart, DC. They have now gone down to one star only because I have to give one star in order to leave a review. The forklift driver is not going to admit that he did it, and the foreman willingly stands beside him. 👍🏼
There are 17 overnight truck parking spaces in front of the gate! I arrived on a Tuesday night and there were about 4 or more still open.
Gate guard super nice both shifts AM and PM.
If you have produce or non frozen food it is AM delivery. If you have frozen food it is PM delivery. I found this out when the broker scheduled me for a 6AM delivery of frozen food, but the only time to deliver the frozen goods is at night!
Plenty of room to back your truck into the docks.
1. Check in at gate and get your door #
2. Go to your door with tandems slid back and doors open
3. Set your landing gear and uncouple your trailer and tractor. Just move your tractor a little forward showing your fifth wheel
4. Check in at shipping #314 bathroom and vending machines/microwave are up stairs in #315
5. Very fast unloading. I checked in for my evening delivery at 5:20PM and was done by 6:30pm (estimated)
6. Go pick up paperwork after getting your call
They do have wifi and I was able to connect for a little while enough to download some videos off Netflix!
